Lindsey Stirling in Chicago!

I am a big fan of Bond and Vanessa Mae. When Bond visited the Philippines, I made sure that I get to watch them. And when I learned that Lindsey Stirling will be visiting Chicago, I made sure as well that I will get to see her perform live!

Now I've learned about Lindsey from, of all places, a photography website: I read about her from an fstoppers article. A self-professed "video nerd", I was greatly impressed that Lindsey does her own video edits. I also learned from the behind-the-scenes video that she made her own props and costumes. She even used a broken fan! (I can't seem to find the behind-the-scenes video anymore...) (Update: Found the link!!! I am such a fan I re-watched here youtube videos...)

A great musician who does her own video edits? A self-professed video nerd? From then on, I became a big fan!

These are my photos of her concert here in the Windy City. All of these, except for the black-and-white ones, did not receive any edits aside from cropping and slight rotation.

The front act was performed by the Tall Animals. It was a great start to a great evening!

How I wish the night did not end. I only wished that Lindsey did a cover of the Lord of the Rings or of Game of Thrones... But all-in-all, the wife and I left the concert greatly satisfied. It was a beautiful concert and Lindsey is a wonderful, wonderful performer. If ever she visits your town, or if you have to drive an hour or so to go, you must go. It will be very much worth it! :)
